Starting a Contra like video game with brutal mechas as vehicles.
After 6 months of development podcasts and research I conclude that where most of the game developers fail, is promising to much. This game will be a short all-in project with minimum effort and time. Ideally 3 months to create a playable Godot 2.5D game.
Project milestones:
- Demo: 1 stage ONE, no more. It includes 1 miniboss, 1 boss, 2 mecha vehicles
- Creating a Patreon to show our vision
- Demo goes to Steam: and wait for people reaction
If we have a good reception and a few $$ from patreon, we continue with development to provide a more complex project.
